Why do golf balls always end up in the rough

Ever notice that no matter how straight your drive is, your golf ball has a radar for the rough; it’s almost like they have a mind of their own. Last weekend, I hit a perfect shot on the 7th hole at our local course, and what do you know? It rolled straight into a bush. I totally think my ball was in on some kind of joke.

I feel you! It’s like they have a secret meeting with the trees. I’ve had a few balls mysteriously disappear into the rough, and I’ve started aiming just a tad left or right of my target to avoid those traps.

, it’s so frustrating! Just the other week I hit a nice drive on 15 and it ended up scooting into the bushes, just like you. I wonder if they have a secret partnership with the wind or something.

I’ve had my share of rogue balls too! Sometimes, I think they just want a little adventure. When I feel a straight shot going off-course, I aim slightly left or right to counteract those sneaky bounces.
