The day I almost mowed the greens

You know you’ve had a rough week when you’re dreaming about mowing the greens and wake up convinced you left the mower out overnight. I had to check, and thankfully the turf was safe — fighting for turf health one day at a time can make you a little paranoid.

, I totally get that! I’ve had my share of worrying about my mower being left out. Just last month, I lost sleep over a storm warning, thinking my mower would float away! It’s funny how we can get so wrapped up in turf health.

I’ve definitely had nights where I wake up worried about my mower! Just last week I double-checked the garage before bed, but a friend pointed out that too much worry can be counterproductive. In my experience, a good night’s sleep helps with turf health more than a late-night mower check.
