Building Confidence on the Course

I’ve been working with some beginner players recently, and one thing I’ve noticed is how mental conditioning can really boost their confidence. A simple routine before each shot, like taking a deep breath and visualizing the shot, can make a huge difference — has anyone else found success with mental strategies on the course?

I completely agree that routine can make a world of difference. One thing I’ve found helpful is to picture the hole as a target when I’m standing over the ball; it really helps to lock in my focus. Have you noticed any specific techniques that work particularly well for your beginners?
